All else, you can’t tell the difference versus a native DVI connections much better than analog VGA at the same resolution as in my notebook’s second monitor. Driver spams the system console. Does what the product description said it would. Mostly I credit that to getting something that has higher resolution capability than what I’m using, so that it has some spare bandwidth. I haven’t tried video on it yet, but the oicture is beautiful and the response is snappy, just as though it were connected to another internal card. Worked great for me.

I didn’t know if it would work with this unit or not, so I frankly wasn’t expecting much when I tried it. I will have to return it. Comes with all the adapters and cables you’d need.

Both are as three screen setups. I now have 3 monitors being driven by my MacBook Pro. My setup is a 24″ monitor off a monoprice displayport-dvi adaptor, and an older 20″ ddisplay ultrasharp widescreen, running rotated at x resolution off this adaptor, mono;rice is running through a powered USB2 hub along with external mouse and keyboard. It operates at a maximum resolution of x I’ve had this setup for over a year and been very pleased with it.
The manufacturer software that I downloaded from online conflicted with my system.
With the latest DisplayLink driver, I’ve had absolutely no problems with the display adapter. Just for providing additional screen real estate, it works perfectly.

The user manual is a little more descriptive and mentions that the adapter is capable of supporting a single extra monitor, and that with six adapters you can run up to six simultaneous displays.
